About Us

This journey began out of, believe it or not, frustration. I started a simple support group on Facebook, only because there wasn't one.

I wanted others to see how many high quality, free lessons, tutorials and advice there was online. So many, especially the technologically challenged, just weren't aware of what great digital resources were available to them. I made a choice to help them find it, free of charge and free of the view that one specific brand was more essential over another!

Since then, as a group, we have added some amazing resources and tutorial links to become a comprehensive online resource to over 35,000 members. Instead of writing all our own posts or just copying others' ideas and claiming them as our own, we share links to some very clever, advertisement free sites that richly deserve credit for their work.

As our Facebook group evolved, we have included our very own challenge blog with amazing and unique sponsors, including some not seen elsewhere. We have a great group of very talented designers to inspire as well as support others when they can.

What we won't do.

We won't tell you that you need to spend big to make a single project and we won't tell you, wherever possible, that you need to buy from one particular company over another. We want to save you money with our advice, not help you spend it. We will be open and frank with any advice and we will always forewarn you of any advertorials we recommend, stating clearly when posts or references are heavily sponsored. While so many others try to build a career out of crafting, we want to just build a community, full of support!

We want to do what we claim, to be there for you in whatever craft project you attempt. We aren't interested in making money from you, we just want to help you feel better about your craft and proud of your achievements. Questions posted in comments will always be answered and we will do our very best to clarify the confusing when needed.

Most of all, we want to share and support each and every crafter, so they can truly nurture their full potential and we hope you can enjoy the resources we share.

We hope you enjoy our posts as much as we love sharing them!
