Tutorial: Using Shrink Plastic
Drawing, writing or stamping onShrink Plastic is a great way to make your own 3D embellishments or charms. You can even die cut or punch shapes before shrinking!
These projects can be created using any alcohol markers and stamps you already have.
While you may not want to make a pair of earrings or a bookmark, you could easily follow these instructions to create charms for cards or even Christmas tree ornaments.
I always finish off with a thin layer of glossy accents after shrinking, to protect the colored areas and stop any of the marker rubbing off over time.
Remember, if you're adding a hole to your creation so it can be hung in some fashion, you must punch it before you shrink.
