Useful Charts For Cardmaking

 Useful Conversion Charts for Cardmaking

Just look at the resources we have in this group!

This chart is something that's been previously unavailable online.
I know because I had to make it!😉

I figured it high time cardmakers had a chart that not only names the card sizes for their own particular region but also had the corresponding information for the alternate measurement system that is used in the cardmaking community.

In short, I've included the metric chart, in both metric and imperial AND the USA chart in the one image.
Finally, we can see all the measurements and the differences between the two, often confusing systems.

And, the following images are just larger sized images that are easy to download and may be a bit easier to read.

Paper Weight Conversion Chart

This chart shows all the different weights and categories for paper and cardstock. The first seven columns are pound weights, while the last two are metric.

When using this chart, please check the column heading is the type of cardstock your looking for. COVER weight cardstock is always heavier than basic, BOND cardstock. BOND cardstock won't usually be marked as such, where COVER cardstock almost always makes mention that it's COVER weight.

This site contains a calculator type converter that will help those struggling with metric or imperial measurements.

You simply choose which measurements you want to convert, then chose which way you want the converter to calculate and click enter. It will instantly give you the measurements you need in the format you're comfortable with.

I've added this in response to some group members who struggle with converting measurements in some projects.
